FAQ
There is minimal downtime. For certain patients, they might experience mild redness and dryness, which can be curbed with ample moisturizing of the skin. The skin might appear slightly darker with minor scabbing. These are signs of recovery, and it will fade off in no time!
Sunscreen
Apply ample sunscreen of SPF 30 and above regularly. SPF 30 sunscreen is suitable for indoor settings. If you are always out in the sun, it is best to apply SPF 50 (& above) sunscreen to protect your skin.
Your sunscreen should indicate PA+++ or broad-spectrum coverage for Ultraviolet-A and B to shield your skin from harmful UV rays and prevention of UV induced pigments, especially after Pro Laser Treatments.
Hydrate & Moisturise
Moisturise your skin along with regular masking. It will help accelerate the healing process and prevent new pigments from forming.
Depending on your skin condition, our doctor will advise you on the best time intervals for your Laser Treatment.
Laser Treatment is generally pain-free. However, it would also depend on an individual’s pain tolerance. In the event where stronger settings have to be used, our trained aesthetic doctors will apply an anesthetic before the treatment to minimize any discomfort.
The whole process will take about 10-20 minutes. Most patients will feel a slight tingling sensation, like tiny rubber band tapping against your skin with some heat.
